Welcome to Year One- the home of our wonderful young learners
In Year One we expect to have fun, enjoyment and challenges, in order to excel and be inspired.
We are committed to promoting a happy learning environment through independence, team work, resilience and a can do approach.
As a class team we set our expectations for Year One. We will work together to make the rules of the classroom, gain independence, participate in circle time to get to know more about each other and how to respect each other and learn how to become resilient learners.
We start by learning to love ourselves and be proud of who we are. We will ask ‘Why is my world wonderful? grow plants in Science and recognise that everyone belongs to the Family of God.
